The International Journal of Health and Nursing is a new peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing knowledge and practice in the field of health and nursing worldwide. Our journal aims to provide a platform for researchers, clinicians and policy makers to share innovative research, evidence-based practice and critical insights to address the complex challenges facing global health.

1. Journal Positioning and Target Audience
Positioning: As an open access journal, we are committed to promoting academic exchanges, facilitating the sharing and dissemination of research results by providing free access and adopting a rigorous peer-review system, and providing an open, fair and high-quality publication platform for the academic community.
Target readers: domestic and foreign master's and doctoral students of nursing, nursing teachers of colleges and universities, directors of nursing departments and chief nurses of tertiary hospitals, clinical nursing staff, nursing researchers, nursing administrators, relevant personnel of health administration departments, and the general public who are interested in nursing.

2.Column Setting
Review: In-depth discussion of hot issues in the field of nursing, review of the latest research progress at home and abroad.
Clinical Research: Publishing original papers on nursing clinical research, including nursing diagnosis, nursing intervention, nursing effect evaluation, etc.
Basic Research: Publish papers on basic nursing research, including nursing science theory research, nursing education research, nursing management research, etc.
Nursing Practice: Share innovative experiences in nursing practice and promote advanced nursing techniques and methods.
Nursing education: discuss nursing education reform and innovation, exchange nursing teaching experience.
Nursing Management: Focus on hot issues of nursing management, discuss the theory and practice of nursing management.
Nursing Ethics: Discuss nursing ethics and explore the theory and practice of nursing ethics.
International Perspectives: Introduces the development of international nursing and reports the latest progress of international nursing conferences, nursing education and nursing management.

3.Scope of Issue:
Domestic: major hospitals, medical school libraries, nursing societies, nursing bookstores, etc.
Overseas: major nursing research institutes, university libraries, international nursing organisations in Europe, America, Asia-Pacific and other regions.

4.Manuscript Requirements
Originality: Manuscripts must be original research results, which have not been published in any journals or conferences at home and abroad.
Scientific: The content of the manuscript must conform to the basic principles of scientific research, with accurate and reliable data and rigorous conclusions.
Normative: The format of the manuscript must comply with the journal's submission specifications, and the language must be fluent and clear.
**Ethical Review:** Research involving human beings must be approved by the Ethics Committee.

5. Open Access Policy
As an open-access journal, the journal adheres to the concept of ‘Insight Respect Advance’ and has an open access policy for all published articles.
Free access to full text: Readers are free to access, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full text without payment, and to use it for non-commercial research, teaching, or other scholarly purposes.
Creative Commons Licence: The journal usually adopts a more open Creative Commons Licence (e.g. CC BY), which explicitly grants users a wide range of permissions to use and encourages the dissemination and reuse of knowledge.
The journal follows a strict double-blind peer review system to ensure the academic quality and objectivity of published articles.
Double-blind review: The identities of authors and reviewers are kept strictly confidential during the review process to avoid human influence on the results.
Academic Value Orientation: The reviewers will evaluate the submitted articles only on the basis of their academic value, innovativeness, and methodological rigour to ensure that the published articles are of a high academic standard.
